A boy was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle July 26 with potentially serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being involved in an incident with a vehicle in the parking lot of Gateway Fellowship Church in Poulsbo.
Battalion chief Chris Rahl of the Poulsbo Fire Department said the boy suffered injuries to an arm, leg and possibly the abdominal area.
“He was conscious and communicating with us once we got him settled down a little bit,” Rahl said.
PFD partnered with Life Flight Network to transfer the boy from Raab Park in Poulsbo to Harborview for further evaluation and treatment.
Additionally, Poulsbo police Lt. Valerie Nau said the incident happened during an event at the church. She said the incident is still being investigated as to what exactly happened.
