The perfect opportunity to shop locally for your favorite mother, friend or yourself is coming up next  Friday evening, May 3, when the Port Orchard Bay Street Association will hold a Ladies Night Out event in conjunction with the first Port Orchard Art Walk of the season.

Downtown Port Orchard will be full of artists and most retailer will be offering giveaways and special discounts for ladies from 5 to 8 p.m., as well as refreshments, entertainment and future savings opportunities.

Several large baskets filled with merchandise from some downtown retailers will be given away at the end of the event.

Fathoms o’ Fun Royalty will be in front of Custom Picture Framing to assist with registration for door prizes.

Colorful balloons placed in front of each participating business will let everyone know there are specials going on inside.

A few of the special giveaways for the night can be found at Rings and Things jewelry store who will be giving away tiaras to the first 125 ladies in their business during Ladies Night Out; The Olde Central Antique Mall has a teacup for the first 30 ladies through their doors; and That’s Beautiful will be offering 30-percent off total purchases all evening with a free gift for the first 30 ladies in the store.

Also, all downtown restaurants and bars will be participating so patrons and visitors can wrap up the night with dinner and cocktail specials.
