The first case of Swine Flu in Kitsap County has been confirmed in an adult Bremerton male.
Scott Daniels, deputy director of the Kitsap County Health District, said the first confirmed case of swine flu in Kitsap County is no reason to panic.
The man who is infected is exhibiting “mild flu-like symptoms,” according to Daniels and the only thing this indicates is H1N1 is present in the county, but the health district is actively investigating the case to gather more information.
Daniels encourages everyone to wash their hands regularly and often. Anyone who wishes to get more information on the H1N1 virus, can visit the health department’s Web site.
