In an ever evolving world, the South Kitsap School District is keeping with the times by investing in a mobile app to help meet the communication needs of parents, staff and community members.

“Our stakeholders want more information than ever before, and the mobile app provides everything our stakeholders need to know right at their fingertips,” Superintendent Michelle Reid said in a press release. “This tool builds on what we are already doing and provides a one-stop information resource for our families.”

The app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play Store, pulls information from the District website, school sites and social media feeds to stay as up to date as possible. Users have the ability to customize the app so they only see information for the school’s they are interested in. They can access student information including teachers, grades, attendance records, lunch account balances and library books.

There are also direct links to information about the upcoming bond, grade reconfiguration and employment opportunities.
