Want to make a lost or homeless dog or cat’s life just a little bit better this holiday season? Bremerton’s Hi-Fidelity Lounge is hosting a holiday gift drive and party to benefit the Kitsap Humane Society.
The lounge, located at 2711 Sixth Street in Bremerton, will have a donation box for the next two weeks, to take supplies and other needs for the Silverdale animal shelter. At 7 p.m. Dec. 23, the lounge will host a holiday party with steaming eggnog and hot buttered rum, “Santa Paws Pet and Family Photos,” and other seasonal cheer.
“The Kitsap County Humane Society is in desperate need of our help,” said Kelly O’Brien of Team Hi-Fidelity. “Now more than ever, family pets are being abandoned in Kitsap County. Luckily, the Humane Society is there to help. But with this increase in critters, comes an increase in the need for basic necessities like food, blankets and cleaning supplies. Hi-Fidelity would like to dedicate our holiday party to the critters by hosting a gift drive.”

Humane society wish list
Foster Program: Kitten Milk Replacement Formula, cat roll-a-ways, Puppy Potty Pads, collapsible dog kennels, premium kitten/puppy food. Note: Premium dog and cat foods are higher quality that digest more efficiently and require smaller amounts. All donated food must contain minimum of 28 percent protein and have lamb and rice as the first two ingredients. Brands include IAMS, Nutro, Science Diet and Nueman’s Own.
Animal Rescue: aluminum jon boat and trailer, new HP photo printer, duct tape, welder, air compressor, tools, plywood, 2x4s, garden hoses.
Behavior Team: EZ Walk harness.
Grooming Room: bath towels, wash cloths, dog and cat brushes and combs, waterproof aprons, air sanitizer.
