POULSBO — Poulsbo police were called after two teenage girls reported a man took an inappropriate photograph with his phone at a recent North Kitsap High School volleyball game.
The two young women reported the incident shortly after it occurred during a volleyball game on Oct. 8. The pair were waiting in a concessions line in the school’s gym lobby. One of the girls noticed a man standing behind them who quickly bent down and used his cell phone to take a photograph between her friend’s legs.
“Did you really just do that?” the witness said to the man.
“It’s not what it looks like,” the unknown man responded, before grabbing his order and quickly leaving the area.
Security cameras at the school recorded the man leaving the school after the incident.
The man was described possibly Hispanic with black hair, heavy set, wearing blue jeans and blue T-shirt with a turquoise decal on the front, according to a police report.
The man left the school grounds in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Toyota Highlander or similar model, with a spare tire mounted to the tailgate and possibly chrome running boards.
