Kingston Country Christmas

December 12 marks the start of holiday activities In Kingston. Visitors can begin the day with the Kingston Holiday Home Tour, which runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The $15 ticket gives access to some of Kingston’s loveliest homes. Houses and condominiums will be decked out in holiday décor. Tickets are available at the Kingston Chamber of Commerce Office, 11201 State Route 104 or at Little City Catering at 26117 Ohio Avenue.

The Kingston Chamber is also hosting a Giving Tree. The tree is decorated with ornaments, each with a gift request for someone in need. Visitors can pick up an ornament, purchase a present and return it by Dec. 14. Gifts will be distributed through local food banks.

Heritage House and the Giving Tree

Father Christmas will convey the magic of Christmas when he takes his post on Front Street through Dec. 24 for Historic Downtown Poulsbo’s Havne Vei. Stop by and drop off a letter at Santa’s mailbox. Visitors also can help the less fortunate by dropping off a non-perishable food item for Fishline or a new gift for the Giving Tree. The Giving Tree benefits local children in need. Downtown hayrides roll in

Historic hayrides will be held every Saturday through Dec. 19. The rides will be through downtown begin at 11 a.m. For more information, call the Historic Downtown Poulsbo Association at (360) 697-3366.
