Kaitlin Wardle, a senior at South Kitsap High School, was awarded theMildred Burford Scholarship by the Port Orchard Business and Professional Women during its June 12 meeting.

Wardle will be attending Pacific Lutheran University to pursue a degree in psychology and anticipates earning both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree.
