Washington State University announces local fall graduates

Washington State University released the names of local students who have earned undergraduate degrees for the Fall 2014 semester.

PULLMAN — Washington State University released the names of local students who have earned undergraduate degrees for the Fall 2014 semester.

Honors earned by students are listed as follows: summa cum laude for a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 or better, magna cum laude for a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.70 but less than 3.90 and cum laude for a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 but less than 3.70.

Local residents receiving degrees were:

• Port Orchard: Christina Marie Cameron, Bachelor of Science in Biology; Matthew Scott Colling, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Kayla Breta Henley, Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, cum laude; James Michael Irwin, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude; Gayle Lynn Johnson, Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences; Nicholas Lee Johnson, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology; Ashley NKasten, Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences; Heather R Mayer, Bachelor of Science in Biology; Rachael Louise Montgomery-Linn, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, cum laude; and Katherine Elizabeth Stead, Bachelor of Arts in English; Katherine AnnVetter, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Food Systems.
