A man from Bremerton was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle Feb. 15, according to the school’s student newspaper, The Daily Evergreen.
Washington State University Police arrested the 21-year-old Bremerton man at about 8 a.m. Feb. 15 in Perham Hall, a campus residence hall, for investigation of possession of a stolen vehicle, stolen credit cards and obstruction of a public servant.
On Feb. 14, police staked out the suspect’s vehicle at the Student Recreation Center because the car matched the description of a vehicle reported stolen in Everett. The man evaded Washington State University and Pullman Police, as well as Whitman County Sheriff’s deputies, on foot before being taken into custody the next morning.
