The South Kitsap community will have a chance to remember and help the family of murder victim, Amber Lynn Coplin.
A community vigil for the 30-year-old mother of four sons is slated at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, on the Port Orchard waterfront.
On Nov. 9, five local bands will perform live from 4-9 p.m. at Slaughter County Brewing Co., 1307 Bay St. for the “Benefit For Amber’s Boys” fundraiser.
Bands scheduled to perform are:
• The Big Bang, 4 p.m.
• The Circle Twerks, 5 p.m.
• Mythological Horses, 6 p.m.
• Rory OK, 7 p.m.
• Easy Breeze, 8 p.m.
Coplin was found dead in her apartment located in the 4200 block of Madrone Drive. David Michael Kalac, 33, was arrested in connection with the crime in Oregon.
Kalac, Coplin’s boyfriend, is in the Kitsap County Jail and charged with second-degree murder. Bail for Kalac was set at $2 million.
