SEATTLE — Bremerton Police Department detectives arrested a man and woman in Seattle May 3 and referred them to the King County Prosecutor’s Office for charges including felony delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Detectives with the Special Operations Group made the arrests and seized more than 80 grams of heroin, more than 27 grams of methamphetamine and $2,056 in cash.

A Infiniti coupe was also seized under Washington State seizure laws.

The arrests were made after BPD patrol officers received information on drug activity in Bremerton. Detectives later observed a transaction in the Seattle area.

“This is a great example of our patrol officers and undercover detectives working as a team to identify, follow up and do what it takes to get these dangerous drugs off the street,” said Bremerton Police Chief Steve Strachan in a BPD press statement.

The man and woman were from Snohomish County.
