CALL FOR ARTISTS: The Bainbridge Island Wine Weekend Recession-Friendly Art Show slated for 1-4 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Town Square on Bainbridge, is looking for artists. This event is open to all artists and craftspeople who are interested in participating in a fun, casual recession-friendly event. Vendors are welcome to bring pictures of their work and portfolios, but all items sold will be priced at $100 or less. Preference will be given to local (ie North Kitsap) artists and to those whose work is not generally available for under $100. Proposals for art demonstrations are welcome.
