Olympic Peninsula Kidney Centers announces new board members

Center has served the needs of individuals who are experiencing chronic kidney disease

The Board of Directors of the Olympic Peninsula Kidney Centers (OPKC) announced the recent election of new Board officers and the selection of two new members of the Board of Directors.

At the recent annual meeting of the OPKC Board of Directors, Jill Jean, director of Kitsap Regional Library, was elected to the position of president. Other officers elected include: Eileen Schock as vice-president, Robert Schneidler as secretary and Robert Schwartz as treasurer.

In addition, two new members were selected to replace retiring members Clint Shinkle, a founding member of the OPKC Board, and David Gitch, another long-term Board member. The new Board members are Terri McKenize of Huddleston, McKenize PLLC and Associates of Silverdale, and Linda Larson, vice President and controller at Watson Furniture Company of Poulsbo.

Since 1980, Olympic Peninsula Kidney Centers have served the needs of individuals who are experiencing chronic kidney disease and require dialysis. OPKC has four facilities located in Bremerton, Port Orchard, Poulsbo and Port Townsend, serving all of Kitsap county and portions of Mason and Jefferson counties.
