Glea Louise (Thomas) Branstetter | Passages

Glea was born in Minneapolis and married Cecil Branstetter in Seattle in 1947. They raised three children in Bellevue. She worked at Boeing for 25 years and retired to Indianola. Glea was resourceful, easygoing, appreciative, and always put others before herself. She loved life, embraced creativity and ingenuity, and tirelessly enjoyed gardening, projects, art, traveling, books, family and friends. We are so thankful for the gift of Glea’s life.

Glea was born in Minneapolis and married Cecil Branstetter in Seattle in 1947. They raised three children in Bellevue. She worked at Boeing for 25 years and retired to Indianola.

Glea was resourceful, easygoing, appreciative, and always put others before herself.  She loved life, embraced creativity and ingenuity, and tirelessly enjoyed gardening, projects, art, traveling, books, family and friends. We are so thankful for the gift of Glea’s life.

She was preceded in death by Cecil in 2010, and is survived by daughter Jan (John) Lamont (Sammamish), daughter Sue (Steve) Swank (Bellingham), son Bill Branstetter (Hansville), grandchildren Darren (Tracy) and Kevin Lamont, and Tyler and Alissa Swank.

Glea’s memorial is 11:30 a.m. Aug. 6 at the Indianola Clubhouse, 20446 Indianola Road NE, Indianola.
