Pirate is a big boy — quite the chunky monkey! He is a 90-pound shepherd-mutt mix with a coarse and scruffy white and brindle coat and the sweetest face.

Pirate is a friendly, happy guy. He loves to go on walks and play, play, play. When he wags his tail, he wags his whole body! He would love to go on hikes and play ball in the yard. He also seems to love beach time!

Pirate has an infectious smile and loves puppu-ccinos from Starbucks. Pirate’s history is unclear, so he is looking for a dedicated adopter who can teach him all the skills and rules of being an inside dog, such as house training/crate training, being left alone and furniture manners. He has spent time in staff offices and seems like a well-behaved boy who loves dog beds (no matter the size, he’ll squeeze onto a cat bed) and seems house-trained.

Pirate seems to like medium and large dogs, but thinks small dogs and cats are for chasing. Pirate is looking for a home with a fenced yard, and not an apartment.
