Janet Foster and Kurt Erwin, both of Silverdale, are planning an August 2009 wedding. The two met in high school, but fell in love 16 years later.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sam and Betty Foster of Bremerton. She is a 1991 graduate of Central Kitsap High School. In 1999, she attended Ashmead College and became a licensed massage practitioner in November 2000. She owns her own business in Old Town Silverdale.

The groom-elect is the son of John and Norma Erwin of Kingston. He is a 1991 graduate of Central Kitsap High School. He has worked as an optical lab tech for nearly 17 years.
