No new taxes, no increase on existing taxes. People (governments) need to make due with what they have for now.

Do you realize the MPD commissioners are claiming the average family will only pay $50 per year. Look close. The MPD allows for up to 75 cents per $1,000 of assessed value. There is no guarantee for the 15 cents they like to talk about. Do you trust government/taxing authorities??

What about family’s currently struggling to keep homes, pay rent, keep food on the table? This is not the time for a new tax and maybe never with the ambiguous tax amount.

I’m glad Kingston has lots of volunteers. How about them providing the upkeep and doing fundraisers to support the center like the volunteers in Hansville and all the other community centers that do not depend on the property owners.

Isn’t this just a little grandiose for Kingston ??
