One game away from state: Boys, girls advance to basketball regionals

The North Kitsap Vikings defeated Liberty 76-68 to win the 2016 West Central / SeaKing 2A Boys Basketball Tournament, Feb. 20 at Foss High School. The Viking girls basketball team defeated River Ridge 51-41 to place fifth in the 2016 West Central / SeaKing 2A Girls Basketball Tournament, Feb. 20 at Curtis High School.

BOYS BASKETBALL
The North Kitsap Vikings defeated Liberty 76-68 to win the 2016 West Central / SeaKing 2A Boys Basketball Tournament, Feb. 20 at Foss High School.

North Kitsap advances to the 2A Boys Basketball Regionals. North Kitsap plays Woodland on Feb. 26 or 27 in a loser-out game; the winner goes to state. The state tournament will be played March 3-5 at the Yakima Sun Dome.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
