4-H EVENT: 4-H will host its annual welcome event from 3-5 p.m. Oct. 3 at the President’s Hall at Kitsap County Fairgrounds. The 4-H Youth Development Program engages youth in hands-on learning experiences that aim to make their best better. 4-H is open for enrollment for youth 5 years of age and in kindergarten through 12th grade. CLICK COMPUTER CLASSES: Kitsap Regional Library offers computer literacy classes on Wednesdays at the Poulsbo Library. Internet 101, for novice computer users, will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Oct. 7. Internet 201 focuses on finding reliable information using Web directories and the library’s subscription databases. It will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Oct. 14. DAY TRIPS: Poulsbo Parks and Recreation is offering several day trips for seniors in the next few weeks. On Oct. 8 we travel to the Naval Undersea Museum in Bremerton. On Nov. 4 we will be visiting a variety of consignment stores in Kirkland; and Nov. 9 we are off to the Federal Reserve Bank and then to Ikea. Space is limited on our trips and prices vary.
