POULSBO LIVE: Series two of “Poulsbo Live” begins with a performance at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Jewel Box Theatre. Part open-mic, part talent show, “Poulsbo Live” is where you show off your artistry. The performances can be almost anything — all you need is your own equipment and a desire to entertain your family, friends and strangers. ST. PATRICK’S DINNER: The Poulsbo Noon Lions Club will host their second annual St. Patrick’s dinner celebration from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Warren G. Harding Masonic Lodge, 18824 3rd Ave. NW, Poulsbo. Dinner is corned beef with cabbage and all the trimmings genuine Irish soda bread, all served by North Kitsap High School and Kingston High School Leos. PLAY READING: The Jewel Box Theatre is proud to offer script-in-hand performances for you in a new and accessible form. At 8 p.m. Saturday, March 27, the Jewel Box Theatre will present the second play of The Play Reading Series, “Mere Mortals and Others” by David Ives and directed by Fred Saas. The evening will include six, one-act plays from Ives, considered the king of short one-act plays. There will be few if any props. Costumes will be suggested.
