Freshman middle blocker Sarah Carlson had five blocks, but it was not enough as South Kitsap lost 25-11, 25-8, 25-12 in a Class 4A Narrows League volleyball match Monday against Bellarmine Prep.
The Wolves (1-8 overall, 1-6 league) played their DiG PiNK volleyball match to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. When South held that event in 2010 against Stadium, more than 1,000 spectators were clad in pink.

Senior River Van Riper won his match at No. 2 singles 6-0, 5-7, 7-5.
