FESTIVALS

CEDAR COVE DAYS: Fans of author Debbie Macomber are expected to flock to Port Orchard en masse Aug. 26-30 for Cedar Cove Days. The festival is a celebration of literature and Cedar Cove, a town based on Port Orchard that is featured in some of Macomber’s novels. Info: www.cedarcoveassociation.com.

THE INAUGURAL KITSAP WINE FESTIVAL: on Aug. 23, Bremerton Harborside Fountain Park will host Kitsap’s inaugural Wine Festival from 2-6 p.m. — bringing 20-some Northwest wineries to the Bremerton waterfront, matching with cuisine provided by chefs from the Kitsap Conference Center and Anthony’s at Sinclair Inlet.
