KINGSTON — Their names are usually included in print and online lists of top soccer players.
Now, five students from the North Kitsap School District were added to one more.
Kingston’s Tommy Nitchman, Alex Hernandez and Alex Worland were selected to all-state teams, as were North Kitsap’s Raul DeLuna and Utsav Shaha.
DeLuna and Nitchman were selected for the 2A first team.
This is the second first team DeLuna was picked for. During all-league selections, Deluna was chosen for the Olympic League team.
Ditto for Nitchman. Nitchman was the Olympic League MVP for the 2014 spring season.
As a defender, Nitchman, a team captain, helped the Kingston Buccaneers keep the total goals against the Kingston Buccaneers to a single digit — nine — in 21 games. Nitchman also earned three assists and a goal while playing center-fullback.
