Walt Elliott has demonstrated his competence, diligence and community spirit well in the years since his retirement from the Navy and taking up residence in South Kingston.

I have had the privilege of working with Walt on the Ferry Advisory Committee and I am consistently amazed with the amount of due diligence he performs to make sure that our committee is well informed and that its opinions are presented to the management of Washington State Ferries as well as to our representatives in Olympia.

I am sure that Walt would apply this same interest in the well being of his adopted hometown at the level of the Port Commission as he has with the Ferry Advisory Committee.

Walt is easy to work with and appreciative; he is respectful of citizens and authorities. I urge you to give your vote to Walt Elliott for Port of Kingston Commissioner.
