A downed tree blocked both southbound lanes of State Route 305 in Poulsbo during Wednesday’s morning commute.
Southbound drivers were diverted around the fallen tree at milepost 12 in a turn lane beginning about 7:20 a.m., according to Washington State Department of Transportation spokesman Joe Irwin.
DOT crews cleared one southbound lane by 7:45 a.m., and cleared the second by 8 a.m.
Northbound lanes remained open. Local law enforcement also responded to the scene, Irwin said.
