SILVERDALE — The final pieces —steel beams from the World Trade Center and a stone from the Pentagon — will make its final journey and resting place at the Kitsap 9-11 Memorial site.
Motorcyclists from the area are encouraged to join the procession of the steel beams and stone on Sunday, July 28.
The processsion, which begins at 5:30 p.m., will go from Legend Harley-Davidson in Silverdale to Evergreen-Rotary Park in Bremerton.
Motorcyclist will gather at Legend Harley-Davidson, 9625 Provost Rd NW at 4 p.m.
The procession will go from Legend on Provost Road, south to Newberry Hill Road, then east to Chico Way and south to Kitsap Way.
The procession will head east to Highland Avenue into Evergreen-Rotary Park. The memorial is being built at the corner of 13th and Highland.
The public can gather along the route to show their patriotism and support, while honoring the victims and heroes of the 9-11 attacks.
