Semi-truck fire quickly extinguished

POULSBO — A semi-tractor trailer caught fire at about 3 a.m. Dec. 24 on State Route 305 near the 307 interchange. When Poulsbo firefighters and Poulsbo Police arrived on the scene they found the rear back right end of a 40-foot, 18-wheel trailer truck engulfed in smoke and flames.

Firefighters put out the blaze within five minutes.

The fire investigation shut down the intersection of Bond Road and Bernt for about 30 minutes. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
