In response to the story, “A full house; Foster parents provide love and care for children in need,” May 6 Kitsap Week:

After flipping through several papers and reading the horrible news stories, I was brought to tears while reading this story. I am so thankful there are caring individuals like Ms. Bennett and Ms. Field in our community that open their hearts and homes to some of our most vulnerable citizens. On this Mother’s Day weekend, I would just like to say to them and others like them — THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
