Have you noticed? The waterfall is back.

The Bight of Poulsbo constructed the waterfall years ago but due to frequent vandalism, it fell into a state of disrepair.

I want to thank all of those involved in revitalizing the waterfall that welcomes visitors to Poulsbo.  This effort was spearheaded by Doug Houghton and gang at Liberty Bay Auto.  A special thanks to Valley Nursery which provided the new landscaping plants and to Dan Blossom for his work in getting them planted. A special thanks the Poulsbo-North Kitsap Rotary members who, on their hands and knees, resembled an army of ants devouring the unwanted vegetation that had taken over the waterfall.

Due to this extraordinary volunteer effort, our community will once again be able to enjoy our waterfall.
