After reading your front page article in the [North Kitsap] Herald Aug. 29, I had a question.

In the past five years alone, Poulsbo has grown in population from 6,800 to approximately 9,700. Why has the school districts population dropped, instead of increased? I believe we need a third-party evaluator to analyze the drop and, more importantly, why are people choosing not to attend NKSD schools?

I believe this is the most important question that the district should address.
