The Bremerton Knights fell to the Buccaneer’s running game during the Buc’s homecoming match on Oct. 15.
With 294 rushing yards and four touchdowns, Running Back Lou Hecker helped keep the Bucs tied for third overall in the season with the 42-27 Buc victory.
The Bucs (4-3 for the season, 3-2 for Olympic League) are tied with North Mason High (4-3, 3-2). The top four teams in the league will earn playoff spots, but the team in fourth place must play an extra game.
The extra game will be in a Tuesday play-in game.
The Bucs will play North Mason on their home turf on Oct. 22 in a fight for the third place playoff berth. The game starts at 7 p.m.
