BELFAIR — The Vikings continued their gridiron onslaught by crushing the North Mason Bulldogs 50-8 on Oct. 3.

The Vikings’ varsity team accumulated 455 total yards in its fifth straight win of the season.

It was a one-sided game by the second quarter. The Vikings scored 10 points in the first quarter and 27 in the second.

The Vikings scored another seven points during the third quarter — the Bulldogs scored their only eight points of the game during the third.

In the fourth, the Vikings tacked on another six.

North Kitsap’s Kyle North, the team’s leader in rushing yards, scored four touchdowns.

TJ Jensen, Leif Klinger and Sam Henden each earned a touchdown. Andrew Hecker scored four point-afters and one field goal. Ryan Hecker scored one point-after.

Quarterback Alex Allbee was 8-11 passing for 120 yards and one touchdown.

The win keeps the Vikings (2-0, 5-0) at the top of the Olympic League standings. They are tied with the Olympic Trojans (2-0, 3-2). The Trojans play the fifth place Kingston Buccaneers (1-2, 1-4) oct. 10.

Next: Vikings travel to Bremerton, 7 p.m., Oct. 10.
