Poulsbo is currently faced with the growing pains of transition and change. There are many issues on the table the citizens and the Poulsbo governing body was not faced with just a few short years ago. The most important of which is how we are to preserve our cherished way of life this small community provides us and still meet the challenges of a growing population and all the ramifications that growth brings.

Since long before Becky Erickson was elected to the city council, she was actively involved in the many issues that the citizens faced, particularly the issues of rapid growth fueled by a heated real estate market and the many complexities the Growth Management Act presented to us. Erickson realized the importance of appropriate and meaningful policies that would help bring these changes to fruition that would be fair, balanced and understandable to the property owners, developers and the governing body tasked with overseeing this process.

Erickson has shown time and again the clarity of thought, work ethic, and fiscal responsibility and leadership required of a public servant that has the best interest of this community in mind. She has served the citizens well as councilmember and would continue to do so as mayor of the city Poulsbo. Vote for Erickson for mayor for the city of Poulsbo.
