Roger A. “Bull” Durham, 58, of Longview passed away at St. John’s Medical Center April 18.

His father and mother are Harry and Grace Durham. Grace preceded him in death in 1988.

He graduated from R.A. Long High School and joined the Navy, where his life as a submariner was extensive.

He was a kind soul, a devoted family man, and much loved by those who knew him.

His remains will be placed at the Willamette National Park in Portland, with military honors at a later date.

A memorial service will be April 23 at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longview.
