KCHD REVISES FEE SCHEDULE
The Kitsap County Health District will present its revised 2010 Environmental Health fee schedule to the Kitsap County Board of Health at the board’s next monthly meeting from 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 in the first floor chambers meeting room in the Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 Sixth St. The district will request board approval of the revised schedule at the meeting.
Although the vast majority of fees will remain the same as in 2009, several fees are proposed to be adjusted in 2010. Decreases are proposed for public drinking water system surveys and water status reports. Increases are proposed for administrative appeals to the Health Officer and Board of Health. Several other clarifications or housekeeping items also are proposed.

FOOD DRIVE SUCCESSFUL
Pacific Northwest Title Company, with support from local real estate offices and lenders, recently concluded its Fifth Annual Holiday Food Drive to benefit Kitsap County food banks. A total of 366 pounds were delivered to North Kitsap and Bainbridge Island. South Kitsap Real Estate offices gathered 379 pounds plus $70 for South Kitsap Helpline. A total of 254 pounds were delivered to Bremerton Foodline. The Central Kitsap Food Bank received 537 pounds plus $205.
HEALTH CARE MEETING
Naval Hospital Bremerton is hosting a quarterly health care consumer council meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in Ross Auditorium located on the sub-level of the main hospital. The meeting is open to all interested beneficiaries.
NAVY HOLIDAY PARTY
The annual Navy Region Northwest and Naval Facilities Command holiday party is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12 at Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton’s Olympic Lodge, from 6 to 11 p.m. Dinner will be served from 7 to 8 p.m. The cost is $25 per person. Tickets are available from command ticket sales representatives. Reserved tables for groups of 8-10 are available. Seating is limited so act now.
