Spring foods harvested by the Suquamish people will be the focus of a presentation hosted by the Kitsap History Museum on May 1.
The presentation will include a tasty food demonstration incorporating Stinging Nettles. Information about the Suquamish Traditional Plants Program and current projects and activities about traditional plants and foods in the community will also be discussed.
The program begins at 6 p.m. at the museum, 280 Fourth St., in Bremerton. Admission is free.
