Regarding the article entitled “Poulsbo City Hall causes City Council Brawl,” according to attendees at that finance committee meeting, the heading significantly exaggerates the truth in this matter. The article also fails to mention two important facts:

• The invoice went to the finance committee and Becky Erickson approved it last November, and audited it seven times since then; and

• According to the record, the city council members were advised of the change via a memo sent to them in November in accordance with city of Poulsbo long time procedures. Please see the minutes of Dec. 3, 2008, and Dec. 17, 2008.

I am hopeful that future articles done by the Herald will more clearly state the facts. From what I have been reading, things are a bit skewed. I don’t get it.
