BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — Krystal E. George, 26, of Poulsbo, is charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with forgery.

On Nov. 1, 2012, the victim contacted the Bainbridge Island Police Department about a theft of her personal checks. Her bank statement included eight checks cashed that she didn’t write, according to the report.

The bank provided copies of the checks, which were allegedly cashed by three women, including George. According to the report, George cashed $535 from two stolen checks.

On Dec. 6, the officer received photographs from Chase Bank surveillance, where the three women were cashing more of the victim’s checks.

George was booked into Kitsap County Jail for forgery and three counts of contempt of court, bail set at $25,000.
