POULSBO – Officers from three agencies, including the U.S. Treasury Department, arrested four people for narcotics sales, trafficking in stolen property and identity theft Jan. 7 at a home in the 25000 block of Pioneer Way NW, Poulsbo.
A fifth person was arrested during a traffic stop in Kingston the next day.
A warrant was served on the residence and property as part of an ongoing investigation that began with a separate residential burglary case in December, sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Scott Wilson said.
The search warrant was conducted by Kitsap County sheriff’s detectives with assistance from the sheriff’s regional SWAT team, sheriff’s patrol deputies, a Poulsbo police detective and Treasury agents.
“Evidence from the execution of the search warrant in this case has led to the development of information concerning sales of narcotics, trafficking in stolen property and an elaborate identity theft scheme occurring at the residence,” Wilson reported.
Those arrested and booked into Kitsap County Jail were:
Jana Marie Beck, 40, Poulsbo, delivery of methamphetamine. Bail: $5,000.
Lance William Larson, 40, Poulsbo, possession of methamphetamine. Bail: $2,500.
Sarah Ladean Redfern, 28, Poulsbo, identity theft, possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine. Bail: $10,000.
Douglas Alan Ward, 51, Poulsbo, identity theft, possession of stolen property third degree, and maintaining a place/dwelling for selling and/or use of controlled substances. Bail: $50,000.
Krystal Elaine George, 26, of Poulsbo was arrested around 1:15 p.m. Jan. 8 during the course of a vehicle traffic stop in the 27000 block of Miller Bay Road NE, Kingston. She was booked into Kitsap County Jail on three outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court. Bail: $75,000.
Additional charges pertaining to the search warrant investigation are pending, Wilson reported.
