Snow settled into the region overnight prompting the North Kitsap School District to delay school opening by 2 hours this morning.
The National Weather service predicted two inches of snow to settle over the region, but also expected warmer temperatures to melt any accumulation. The NKSD also announced via the school notification system that there is no morning kindergarten, no morning pre-school and no out of district transportation.
