Authorities still have no leads in Poulso’s fourth bank robbery in several months.
According to Poulsbo Police Sgt. Howard Leeming, a white male in his mid-30s “with a noticably pock-marked face” went into the Kitsap Credit Union on State Route 305 at 2:24 this afternoon and handed a bank teller a note asking for cash. The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of money.
As of 4:30 p.m., Poulsbo Police and Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputies were still searching for the man, who was wearing orange or salmon button-up shirt and a white or tan fisherman hat.
This is the fourth bank robbery in Poulsbo this year and this is the second time this KCU branch has been robbed. (See a map of recent robberies)
American Marine Bank was the third Poulsbo bank to be robbed in the last two months. On April 13, the Kitsap Credit Union on State Route 305 was robbed by a man wearing a pants suit. A man wearing a cowboy hat robbed Westsound Bank on Viking Avenue April 7. He was later arrested.
