Three men arrested for Poulsbo burglary

Christopher K. Woodburn, 25, of Poulsbo, Terrance M. Adams, 36, of Hansville, and Joel D. Moore, 30, of Poulsbo, were arrested for a residential burglary on Peterson Way in Poulsbo March 25.

POULSBO — Three men were arrested for a residential burglary on Peterson Way in Poulsbo March 25.

The suspects were identified as Christopher K. Woodburn, 25, of Poulsbo; Terrance M. Adams, 36, of Hansville; and Joel D. Moore, 30, of Poulsbo.

A woman confronted one of the suspects, later identified as Woodburn, and he “pushed her away to get out of there.” She reported that he left her house on a bicycle, northbound on Lemolo Shore Drive. He was described as a white male in his 20s, red hair in ponytail, thin build, camo jacket and “smelled of alcohol and marijuana,” according to the sheriff’s report.

A male matching the suspect’s description, identified as Woodburn, was found jumping a fence on Fjord Drive. He reportedly “admitted to entering a residence just down the road through an open back door.” Woodburn reportedly said he “does it to support a heroin addiction,” according to a sheriff’s report.

Deputies also talked with Adams. Woodburn implicated Adams and Moore in the burglary. Jewelry and a TV, identified by the victim as hers, were found in the house where Adams was found.

Woodburn was booked into county jail for burglary and failure to appear, on $25,000 bail. Moore was booked into county jail for burglary, on $75,000 bail. Adams had posted bail by March 27.
