FIFE — The North Kitsap Vikings defeated the Fife Trojans 49-7 to place fifth in the West Central District 3 football playoffs and advance to the state tournament, Nov. 6.

The Vikings handily defeated the Trojans 49-7. The Vikings held the Trojans scoreless until the final minutes of the game, when Fife made a touchdown and capped it with a successful extra point kick.

Vikings will play either Lindbergh or River Ridge in the first round of the 2A state tournament Nov. 13 or 14 in the Tacoma Dome.
