POULSBO — If all goes well this week for the Buccaneers, they will be celebrating an Olympic League title win this week.

The Bucs outscored the North Kitsap Vikings April 30 in two separate games at North Kitsap High School.

The first game, which was a continuation of the game rained out April 11, ended with a 11-10 Buc victory.

The second game finished with the mercy rule, with the Bucs scoring 19, to the Vikings’ 5.

Two wins put the Bucs to 11-1 both overall and in league play. Those same wins pushed the Bucs ahead of Sequim (10-1), which now trails in second.

Port Angeles (10-2), is third in the league.

The Bucs must still face North Mason (6-6) on May 2 and Olympic (3-8) May 4.
