The Central Kitsap Community Council will hold its regular monthly meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at the Water and Fire District Community Room, 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road, Silverdale. The meeting will include presentations by Kitsap Regional Library Director Jill Jean about the library district’s levy proposal, by Sandra Staples-Borton about the Great Peninsula Conservancy’s efforts to preserve the Petersen Farm on Clear Creek and by Commissioner Josh Brown about the county’s acquisition of the Rolling Hills Golf Course.
