Commuters face more than 2 hour wait for Edmonds-Kingston ferry

As of 10 a.m., July 30, the Edmonds-Kingston ferry route was estimated to be delayed by at least two hours, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

KINGSTON — As of 10 a.m., July 30, the Edmonds-Kingston ferry route was estimated to be delayed by at least two hours, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The ferry route is on a one-boat schedule due to the Tacoma being taken out of service on the Seattle-Bainbridge route, July 29. The Puyallup, which is typically used for Edmonds-Kingston, was moved south to provide more service to the Seattle-Bainbridge route.

The Spokane will provide service for Edmonds-Kingston. Morning sailings from Kingston: 4:55 a.m., 6:25 a.m., 7:55 a.m., 9:40 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:50 p.m. Morning sailings from Edmonds: 5:35 a.m., 7:10 a.m., 8:50 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:05 p.m. Updates will occur throughout the day.
