Clearbrook Inn receives positive review

Clearbrook Inn is licensed by the state as a “boarding home” and as such is subject to unannounced surveys that are geared toward monitoring the facility for compliance to state regulations.

Clearbrook Inn of Silverdale, an Encore’s Assisted Living community, has again been rewarded a deficiency-free survey conducted by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.

Clearbrook Inn is licensed by the state as a “boarding home” and as such is subject to unannounced surveys that are geared toward monitoring the facility for compliance to state regulations.

The Department of Social and Health Services conducts on-site inspections to all licensed boarding homes at least once every 18 months with a statewide average of every 15 months. Surveyors organize unannounced on-site full-surveys to assure that the facility is in compliance with licensing requirements.

“Clearbrook Inn has a kind, caring, knowledgeable staff that work unquestionably hard to provide a safe environment and they go the extra mile to meet resident’s needs and ensure the residents are happy,” said Melissa Halverson, executive director for Encore Communities. “Receiving a deficiency free survey from DSHS rewards the staff’s efforts and symbolizes dedication to the tradition of deficiency free surveys.”

Clearbrook Inn was founded in 1991 and is the cornerstone of the 13-acre Encore Communities Silverdale campus that also houses Northwoods Lodge and Country Meadows.

Encore Communities offers the only continuing-care campus in Kitsap County that features independent senior living, assisted living and subacute short term rehabilitation.

Encore Communities is a part of the Sante network of properties. Sante acquired Encore Communities on August 16, 2012.
