– Pajama Storytimes.  Mondays at 7 p.m. Come hear a bedtime story or two.  Children are free to wear their pajamas.

– Kingston Book Group.  April 4, 10:30 a.m. in the Indianola Room. We will discuss “Secret Son” by Laila Lalami.

– Put Some “Make” in Spring Break. April 5 at 2 p.m. Whether a pro or a beginning artist, come “get your craft on” at the library! We will provide supplies to make duct-tape flowers or wallets, origami paper, and some basic beading supplies. You can also bring projects you are working on!  For middle school through high school age.

– Kingston Writers Group. Second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Indianola Room. Join a friendly supportive group convening for the purpose of encouraging writing poetry, nonfiction or fiction.  Beginners are welcome.

– Classics Book Group.  April 16, 6:30 p.m. in the Indianola Room. We will ponder the meaning of “The Woman in White” by Wilkie Collins.

– Seattle Opera Preview Lecture: “Madama Butter-fly.” April 21, 2 p.m.  Presented by opera aficionado Norm Hollingshead.  Puccini’s story of a Japanese maiden and an American Navy officer has been one of the world’s most beloved operas for over a century.  This is the last of an exciting series funded by a donation from an anonymous couple in Kingston.

– Pokemon Club.  April 25, at 3:30 p.m. Meet others who share your passion for Pokemon! Feel free to bring your favorites and check out the Pokemon materials available at your library.  Especially for tweens and children.

– Special Matinee: “Thor.” April 27, 2-4 p.m.  Come hang out in the Norse world of Asgard, via the library. Did you know the library has an extensive collection of Marvel Comics? Come check them out to prepare for the imminent release of “The Avengers” and also to watch the 2011 epic film “Thor.” Popcorn provided! For ages 13 through high school.

Little Boston Library events
– Preschool Storytime.  Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Come in for stories, rhymes and songs with our new children’s librarian.  Children must be accompanied by their caregivers.  Especially for children ages 3-5.

– Legos at the Library.  April 4, from 1-2 p.m. We’ll provide Legos and some “Build it” challenges. You provide imagination and ingenuity. For school-age children and tweens.

– Little Boston Book Group. April 4, 11 a.m. to noon. On April 4, we will discuss “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot.

– Adult Crafternoon welcomes everyone on Wednesdays from 2-3PM. Bring your handwork projects and see our newest craft books.

– Learn how to make everlasting duct-tape flowers. April 11, 1-2 p.m. All supplies provided, including a rainbow of duct tape colors. For adults, teens and tweens.
