The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce President Pete DeBoer welcomed members and guests at the January business luncheon with information of new growth opportunities in Kingston, a salute to the chamber information center and its volunteers, and a reminder to shop locally. The Wetter Family LLC sponsored the luncheon and Nancy Moffatt, executive director of North Kitsap School District finance and operations office, was the featured speaker.

Kingston Chamber Ambassadors, 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 18 and 25 at Cleo’s Landing. The meetings include networking time, presentation by a new local business and announcements. Note that the meetings have been moved from Tuesdays to Wednesdays.
Westsound Business Expo, Feb. 19, at the fairgrounds pavilion. The event opens to the public at 4 p.m. Restaurants, educational services, health and wellness experts, technology companies, Realtors and financial planners will have booths to visit.
